An arm-wrestling arcade game has been recalled in Japan after it BROKE THE ARMS of three players. The Arm Spirit game is distributed only in Japan by the Atlus Company.

French to be Required In All Quebec Vid Games

The government of Quebec and the Entertainment Software Association of Canada are "reportedly close to signing a deal that will require all videogames sold in the province to be TRANSLATED INTO FRENCH," according to Games Digest. The move will likely result in more French-language games sold in Quebec, and fewer in English.

Anti-Disney Game Is Back -- Now On PC

A controversial, violent ANTI-DISNEY GAME (available only on the Macintosh some ten years ago) is back -- this time also on the PC. Los Disneys takes place in a nightmarish future where the state of Florida belongs to the Disney corporation. "Your job is to infiltrate the Magic Kingdom, blasting your way through animatronic pirates, holographic ghosts, tourists, security guards and even Mickey himself in an attempt to seek and destroy the frozen head of Walt Disney," according to the press release.

Gaming Blamed For Rise in Teen Back Pain

A New Zealand conference next week will BLAME TEEN BACK PAIN ON GAMING. The New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapists Association will highlight predictions that "back and neck pain was predicted to increase significantly" because of the combination of inactivity and sitting for long periods of time while playing computer and video games.
