Man kills himself over missing iPhone prototype
25 year-old engineering graduate named Sun Danyong killed himself last week after a fourth-generation iPhone prototype went missing. Danyong had recently landed a job with Foxconn, in Shenzhen, China, which is a manufacturing firm that makes some Apple products. He was asked to simply ship the prototype back to Apple in California, but "lost" it (someone may have stolen it). Foxconn goons then illegally searched his apartment, and may have physically abused Danyong while interrogating him. He then jumped out of a 12th-floor window in his apartment, falling to his death.

Comments:
That's awful. It's only a phone!
What evidence is that he jumped and wasn't pushed?
This is so sad.
Thrown out a window over an iphone?
This guy is truly an hero.
Hey, the iPhone COULD have not been the ONLY reason he died. I mean, maybe he had lots of reasons to die but then he saw the missing iPhone and he was like "Oh, great, one more reason for me die. I think I have had enough reasons for me to die already. Let's die then. I bet that is gonna be fun!".
And then he died.
Meanwhile, other people are like "OH MY he died only because of a iPhone! How stupid!".
That is just my guess though.
Looks like it's time for Apple to dump this outfit and find someone else to deal with in China. Time for a petition?
did he land on hiz feets???
Damn, someone wasted another perfectly good intern...
they pushed his ass and stole his phone.
i bet he was thrown out.
My guess is that "suicide" is one of the Apple Mafia's specialties.
Seriously though, my condolenses to his family and friends.
i think they probably threatend him or his family if he could not get it within a certain amount of time and as he could not produce the goods he killed himself instead of his family being harmed !! (i think i watch to many films and tv)
