Apple banned Google Voice app for iPhone

When Google released Google Voice applications for Blackberry and Android, but not iPhone, many assumed that Google was ignoring a competitive phone platform. But it turns out that Apple is the one who rejected the app that Google developed for iPhone. One reason they may have done this is that partner AT&T could lose money because Google Voice offers free text messaging. Unfortunately, the move may backfire. You don't need the app to use Google Voice. And rejecting the app may call attention to the fact that with Google Voice, you don't need to pay AT&T for SMS.
