New Hacker Trick: Fake Parking Tickets
Hackers in Grand Forks, North Dakota, are using a new trick: fake parking tickets. They placed official-looking tickets on windshields, which says the driver can view pictures of the violation on a specific web site. The site, of course, installs a trojan.

My personal computer won't even run IE, so why should I care? It runs Safari and Firefox.

Yes.
Almost 70% of internet users use IE as of Jan 2009. Don't get me wrong... you sound very hip and cool with your mac lifestyle, but you are apparently easily confused.
No David, no one uses IE. Or Windows anymore. Trojan and virus writers have all gone away and Macs now rule the computer world.
