Bill Gates Does Something Unusual: Releases Bugs!
Bill Gates did something unusual today at the TED genius-fest: He unleashed a swarm of live mosquitoes into the audience. No, he wasn't promoting Windows Vista. He was making the point that "not only poor people should experience this," by which I guess he meant the experience of being abused by a billionaire. Just kidding. He was talking about malaria. Anyway, it was a good day to not be at TED.

I think Bill and Steve Jobs have a contest in who can be more of a loon. Bill just took first place with this stunt. Sorry Steve, maybe next time.
If only there was some way of controlling mosquitoes in malaria prone countries...
