Solar-Heated Wetsuit Hits

Australian surf-wear maker Billabong has created a solar-heated wetsuit for surfers. The wetsuit does not appear to have actual solar panels that generate electricity for heating parts of the suit. Instead, the suit has patented "solar mesh" panels that absorb heat from the sun and heat the water directly. Nevertheless, I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that this "solar-heated wetsuit" will be mis-reported as a "solar-POWERED wetsuit." (Please post links to mis-reporting in the comments area.) The SG5 Solar Mesh wetsuit should hit Australia in Q1 and cost between $500 and $600. They should instead introduce it here in Southern California where the sun always shines and the water is super cold.
