US Army to Invest $50 Million in Video Games

The US Army plans to spend $50 million on video-game based combat training over the next five years.

i served and was in combat where the consequences were very real and very scary. The Army is foolish to substitute vicarious experience for the real thing. This is going to get a lot of good young soldiers killed. I see video games as a social disease. They should be banned and put in the same category as illegal drugs as they both cause people to see the most dangerous and things that require aquired skill to be easy to do...i mean really, you cant fight a war sitting or laying on a couch hell this ios to stupid to waste my time ...over and out. lol
