Smart Car Batmobile Fights Crime, Global Warming
A company that specializes in the customization of Smart Cars unveiled this week a SMART CAR BATMOBILE. The company is smart42parts.com, and the car is called the Batsmart. This golf-cart-like Eurocar is designed to intimidate, complete with bat-wing tail fins, scowling headlights and organ-style exhaust pipes. They unveiled the car at an automotive trade show called SEMA. Best of all, they're going to sell 40 of these to the public. I want one.

Hey, Don't call it a golf cart! :)
These things are rated at 90 mph top speed and I've seen them doing around that on the UK freeway.
Mind you, I wouldn't like to hit anything at that speed in one of them. Even though they claim great crash test stats and a secure passenger cage.
yep, don't call it a golf cart... we (my wife) owned one of those (as a cabriolet) for a few years - it's perfect for middle distances and very popular in a lot of big European cities, like Hamburg (especially to avoid the parking probs)
...just forgot - if you're wondering where it originates: it's partly designed (and owned) by the Daimler AG (Mercedes) ;)
Cute! What's it going to be when it grows up?
