Microsoft Uses Macbook Pro in Marketing Fluff

One alert blogger noticed that promotional Microsoft fluff bundled with a new PC talks about organizing photos and videos on a Windows PC, but the PICTURE SHOWS A MACBOOK PRO. Let me explain this. Companies like Microsoft either buy stock photos or hire designers, who hire photographers and orchestrate the photo shoots. Designers are Mac users, and most have never actually seen Windows or PCs. To the design community, PCs = Macs and Macs = PCs.

Many stock photographers use Macs in their shots. Let's face it, they look nicer -- simpler, less distracting. Plus, photographers today probably have a couple sitting around.
