Homework Not Done? Students Blame PC Crashes!
A recent survey conducted by a company called Pixmania found that British students increasingly claim that COMPUTER PROBLEMS PREVENTED THEM FROM TURNING IN HOMEWORK. Teachers hear an average of 15 such excuses per week, according to the survey, which makes PCs the top scapegoat. These excuses take the form of 1) my PC crashed after I finished the homework; 2) I accidentally deleted homework after completing it; 3) the Internet was unavailable, so I couldn't do research; 4) I finished it but I couldn't print; and the piece de resistance 5) the dog peed on my laptop.

Comments:
"The dog peed on my laptop." That seems to be something like the digital version of "The dog ate it."
Classic.
Heck yeah. So true. So many nights lost to reinstalling something. Having 2 computers was almost necessary as a backup.
