Stop Ignoring the GPS In Your Phone!
You hear a lot about how great cell phone GPS is. Tech pundits blather endlessly about the amazing new features and capabilities of cell phone GPS (guilty as charged!) And you even shelled out extra for that fancy smart phone with GPS as one of its best features. So WHY AREN'T YOU USING IT?

Comments:
I use in on my Sprint Mogul with Goolge Maps and MS Live Search frome time to time, but it takes forever to get a fix and it only is useful with a clear view of the sky. So that leaves out indoors, subways, commuter trains, busses, airplanes. When I can *really* use it is while driving, and there are more and more laws prohibiting the use of cell phones while driving. Plus, most of the time I have an in-car navigation system which is faster and easier to use.
I was really excited when Sprint made the firmware available to enable GPS on my phone, but after playing with it for a week or so, the novelty died off and now I forget I have it.
BECAUSE I'm used to Telenav. Because I love turn by turn directions. Telenav? It's a program that, um, FREAKING AT&T offers. Apparently Telenav and Apple are in talks about implementing some uber-Telenav for the JebusPhone - I don't care - let's get this working now, and upgrade it later to 3-D buildings and crap.
I use my N95 and tom tom. Gets a fix real quick, turn by turn navigation all while syncing to my car stereo via bluetooth playing my 16GB of music. Yes that's all with my phone
