Censorship of In-Flight Wi-Fi: Just Anti-Tech Bias
I told you October 3 that Delta Airlines planned to filter out "inappropriate" Web sites for in-flight Wi-Fi. Now American Airlines announced plans to follow suit. While nobody has reported a case of any passenger using Wi-Fi to view pornography in-flight, nearly all airline terminals actually sell pornography in print form -- even though many cases of passengers viewing magazine pornography in-flight have been reported. This is just more ANTI-TECHNOLOGY BIAS.

Comments:
No question about the anti-tech bias. How about telling us for years that cell phones somehow interfere with flight instrumentation. Flight crew have been laughing about that for years too.
I understand the airlines' wish not to have someone sitting next to a kid surf over to whips&chains.com in full view but I'm not sure how to stop that except for maybe just making an announcement at the beginning of the flight that passengers should exercise discretion or something like that.
As for porn in the terminals...where are you flying into? Aside from the usual "men's magazines," what terminals have porn? McCarran? If so, it's pretty well hidden.
