China to Require Imported-Product Source Code

The Communist Party-controlled government of China plans to REQUIRE THE SOURCE CODE OF ANY FOREIGN PRODUCT SOLD IN CHINA, from computers to household appliances, starting in May. Because China leads the world in both intellectual property theft and industrial espionage, many companies are concerned that the Chinese authorities will hand over source code secrets to competing Chinese companies.

Will Chinese companies give their source codes to other countries? Yeah right!
