Worst USB Gadget Yet: Ugly 'Green' Webcam

A Belgian company called United Pepper now sells a "GREEN WEBCAM" that resembles a plush-toy octopus. The $45 USB cam uses recycled packaging and is made from renewable materials, including cotton and sand. But this thing is so ugly, you'll want to throw it in the trash. If companies want to make "green" electronics, make them really good and very durable so they last for years.

That's actually a clever idea. The beanbag lets you set its pose easily, the legs let it sit astride things like a laptop screen or one of the speakers, and giving it a cyclops octupus theme is fairly natural. Judgemental, aren't we? It's great reading about stuff on your blog, but you do criticize unnecessarily, and sometimes entirely without justification (Bionic Woman anyone?)

Bionic Woman (the new version with that charisma-lacking actress) sucked. And these octopus monster things are ugly. It's Mike's list and he can criticize anything he wants to (and yes, there are times when I disagree with him too) but hey, having your own blog is for just that...passing judgement on things you see and deal with!
