Mystery iPhone Factory Girl's Fame Grows
I told you August 20 about pictures, found on a brand-new iPhone, of a cute and smiling Chinese factory worker. Well, the iPHONE GIRL'S FAME IS GROWING. Now, the media has pinpointed her location. She works for a Taiwanese contractor called Foxconn hired by Apple to manufacture iPhones in the mainland Chinese city of Shenzhen. A Foxconn representative contacted by the Chinese news agency CRI said that it's "likely that the test photos were left in the phone's memory 'accidentally.'" Which isn't really likely at all. What are the chances that factory workers pose and smile for every one of the 10 million iPhones they test?
