Microsoft and Intel Tried to Kill $100 Laptop - Report

The UK's TIMES ONLINE claims that Microsoft and Intel tried to strangle the $100 lapop project (for kids in poor countries) in its crib. From the article: "Microsoft, makers of most of the computer software in the world, tried to kill it with words, and Intel, maker of most computer chips, tried to kill it with DIRTY TRICKS."

Your link does not go to an article about this.

Regarding Intel and Microsoft killing the $100 laptop - Dah!

Did anyone really believe that their involvement was for any other reason that to kill it.
