Wow, it almost loads for me! I never get past the "joining room" stage, but I can wander my camera around (before I am simply logged out), and it looks interesting.
I can see why it is still in beta. It took Second Life many years to get to the point where it doesn't suck. I can't wait to see how this turns out.
I am having the same issues as thenerd. I am using Mozilla 3.0 on Windows Vista no SP1 box.
Unfortunately it crashed on me while the room was materialising. Looks interesting though. How long did it take you to create it and what did you use to build the objects in the room?
The secret is to not use the room from the Raw Feed page. It's much, much more stable if you click on the Pop-Out Window button, or just enter the Raw Feed room from the Lively site which you'll find here.

It took me less than 3 minutes to create the room (I just selected it from a list of available free rooms), then I've been messing around with decorating it and putting stuff in there for a total of maybe an hour or two?

It looks like Google has fixed the "spontaneously logging me off" bug. Cool room!
