I told you October 20 that Chicago considered the installation of hi-rez surveillance cams on street sweeping trucks. Now the Washington D.C. Council has unanimously passed a new law that will result in cameras that can SCAN LICENSE PLATES and ticket illegally parked vehicles.

I live in Washington D.C. I think that these Cameras would just increase the danager that the street sweepers inpose to the public. Currently the street sweepers do not stop at stop lights, signs, or for people in cross walks. I feel that the camera would decrease the care inwhich the street sweaper drivers already are lacking.
Well, get a camera watching the driver as well then...
