Samsung Electronics has announced a new line of camera phones called, oddly, "MINISKIRT SEASON 2." The phones feature a "Smile Shot" function, which won't take the picture until everyone in frame is smiling; and haptic feedback on the keys. Still.... "MiniSkirt Season?"

I've been to Seoul in the winter, it's miniskirt season all year long there. When it's cold the skirts don't get longer, the boots get taller. No complaints from me!
Why would anyone want to take a photo like that? It's more fun to look at photos that aren't perfect. The spontaneous moment is what cameras are best at capturing.
You forgot to mention that the phone has a "mini-skirt" mode that does not snap the picture until everyone in the shot is wearing a mini-skirt! If you think about it, it's an easier technical challenge for the software to detect miniskirts than smiles...
