Blame Apple For Rising Crime Rate - Report

The Washington think tank, the Urban Institute, says that a rise in crime during 2005 and 2006 (which happened after more than a decade of yearly drops in crime) can be BLAMED ON APPLE iPODS. Three factors make iPods ideal crime-wave generators: 1) they're cool, so everyone wants to steal one; 2) iPod owners are easy to spot -- they're the oblivious people with the white earbuds; and 3) once stolen, they're nearly impossible to recover or render inoperable.
