Abilene Christian University plans to give each incoming freshman a FREE iPHONE, both as a payoff to choose the school, and also to support more than 15 university-developed Web applications that enable students to "receive homework alerts, answer in-class surveys and quizzes, get directions to their professors' offices, and check their meal and account balances." Do they know Steve Jobs is an athiest?

Not to mention the hefty annual tuition fee: "$17,509".
It's no wonder they're willing to offer free iPhones. They make money getting students enrolled into their university.
