Keyboard Lock Modeled After In-Room Hotel Safe

Japan's KI Electronics sells a device that LOCKS YOUR KEYBOARD with a password. The whole thing looks like an in-room hotel safe. It's not clear what prevents someone from plugging in another keyboard using another USB port. (props to CScout Japan)

The title of this object seems mis-translated. The Japanese text from the manufacturer's website says that this is is for computer operations security - security is via access rights/user profiles such as a "member" mode for full-access and a "vistor" mode for pre-defined access. This is similar to Windows user profiles. The device also supports an ID card reader device.

There is no physical/software security about the keyboard itself.
