'Get Smart' Remake Looks Really Stupid
OK, I'll be the first to say it: The upcoming Steve Carroll movie, Get Smart, looks REALLY STUPID, if the international trailer released this week is any indication.

It looks like they couldn't make an un-funnier Get Smart if they tried.
What a shame that they've killed one of my favourite Brooks productions...

do you know these movies where you can watch the trailer and then if you watch the movie you feel like you have already seen everything (in the trailer)?

Looks kinda funny to me, in the future if your going to call somebody's movie stupid you may want to spell their name correctly. It's kinf of a credibiity thing.
The subtitles are in Brazilian-Portuguese. I wonder why they get to see it first. Looks kinda silly, but I wish they would have cast a woman in her late 30s, early 40s against Steve Carroll, instead of somebody young enough to be his daughter. That's Hollywood though, toss out the mature women for the young ones.....
It's a comedy film, so it's supposed to look stupid. Steve looks like he has captured the earnest but inept Maxwell Smart character well.
Isn't "stupid" the whole point?
"Funny" is the whole point. When comedy fails, it's "stupid."
The movie might be funny, but the trailer looks bad to me.
