Comments:
sometimes all this rush for new technology every year makes me wonder if it is making us any less humane. I'm not a techno-phobe, in fact, I'm one of those people who buys new technology every few months, but just recently, the question popped up, "why on earth am I buying all this stuff?"
it seems that every year, as new technology comes out, there's a tendency to want to buy more and more.. sure, it makes our lives easier and more convenient, but at the same time, there's an unseen rise of greed and green. there's always a never-ending infatuation with what's new, and it's become almost something like a drug. can you live without turning on your computer or checking your e-mail?
I wonder if this rising trend in technology is going to have an effect on children and future adults.. what would happen in the future if an electrical outlet happened? no computer, no tv, no cell phone, etc.. what would happen? (and yes, to the extreme end, this line of thinking could get you to become a religious fanatic becoming anti-science/anti-technology.... but this is just a small thought)
I want the MikeCam to come back!
