Worst USB Gadget Yet: Coffee Warmer Hub Clock
How much random convergence is too much? Brando is now selling its $24 USB CUP WARMER WITH USB HUB AND CLOCK. Yeah, it's just what it sounds like. This peripheral does it all. The clock also shows the temperature of the warmer. The hub has four USB 1.1 ports.

Comments:
I was interested, then dissapointed again. Had they considered this with a bit more foresight, they would have realized that the main benefit to haveing a clock on the warmer is to program it to turn on and off during business hours! Without that feature what's the point. My mornings typically start by scraping the burnt remnants of the prior days coffee leftovers that have distilled all night. Had this device consisdered an on/off t imer I might have upgraded.
Lazy guy's version: OnlineClock.net and Starbucks to go.

you should consider using a timer (one of those things that cut the power supply to the device and supply power during a fixed set of hours). I'd recommend using that for your coffee device.. besides, instead of investing over $50 for a new coffee pot, this thing is only a $15 investment (cheaper ones that use a rotary dial for programming is around $7).
