Moth Controls Robot Body In Lab Experiment
Scientists at the University of Arizona have built a robot CONTROLLED BY A MOTH. Electrodes in the moth's puny brain capture impulses from its eyes, which are translated into commands for the robot. The robot rolls in whichever direction the moth looks. The research may one day help paralyzed people control wheelchairs with thought alone.
