Numeric Keypad Mouse For Number Nerds Hits

Japan's Sanwa managed to build a NUMERIC KEYPAD INTO A MOUSE, which they call the NT-MA2. The innovation should help the average user save 13.2 seconds per week because they don't have to move their hand from mouse to keyboard for numbers, according to my calculations. (props to Akihabara News)

Actually this is a great idea for laptop users who use a mouse. It is a lot easier than turning on the numlock on your laptop keyboard then forgetting to turn it off, and getting all the wrong characters on your page, plus it makes it easier to access extended ascii characters (letters with umlauts, accents, and doo-dads).

If you work in cramped spaces this is great. As an accountant, my experience is that some clients carve out a portion of their storage closet for us to work in during audits. With the 17 banker boxes of documents that we typically ask to look at, table space is precious. So having one device instead of two is handy, since I have found my touchpad to get loopy on me sometimes.
