UK Teens Copy Chinese Security Software

Normally Chinese companies copy Western technology. But in a twist, three UK teenagers have created a new security site "inspired" by methods developed by the authoritarian governments of China and North Korea to CENSOR THE INTERNET. Their site, surfprotected.com, is advertiser-supported. You simply type in the URL of the site you want to visit, and Surf Protected will block spam, viruses and other malware just like China blocks porn and pro-democracy information.

Uh... it's just a proxy server. Wooh! Visit their badly spelled site for more details. And this story has nothing to do with the Chinese. The headline makes it sound like they adopted or stole Chinese technology, but they didn't.

Yawn. Fake story.
