McDonald's Unveils McCell Phone McOrdering
A McDonald's in Korea is testing cell phone based ordering. The junk food giant is working with Korean telco SK Telecom to field test their "Touch Order" system. Customers sit down at tables, where they can plug a customized RFID device into their cell phones. They can then scan the menu with the phones, and push a cell phone button to order items. When the food is ready, customers are notified with an SMS MESSAGE.

What's to stop restaurants from uploading phone spam and advertisements to your phone?
So bumped into these guys www dot wiwait dot com/ video it looks like they are doing a similar thing.
In Korea, spam is filtered heavily by phone companies. It also carries jail term for spammers. On top of that McDonalds don't need to send '3some with grannies' to make money :p
