Giant Cell Phone Destroys Car In Russia

It's true: Cell phones can be dangerous to drivers. Especially when they're GINORMOUS, and land on your car. Details are sketchy, but apparently a promotional billboard-mounted mock giant cell phone in Russia fell off its pole and landed on a Mercedes parked below. Or is it a publicity stunt? (props to Engadget, Tech Ticker and Auto Blog Show)

It didn't "fall" on the car. You can clearly see that the car has smashed into the cell-phone.

I can't find any sources for this right now, but I've read that the driver of the car was yapping on his phone, lost control of the car for whatever reasons and then smashed into the huge phone.

Fate it seems is not without a sense of irony.

That would be a great story if true. If anyone finds facts on this, please come back and post 'em here!

Looks like a "Don't talk and drive at the same time" ad to me.
Pretty cool anyway though.
