GameStop Suspends 'Good-Grades' Manager

I told you September 13 about Dallas GameStop manager Brandon Scott, who refused to sell games to kids with bad grades and would buy a free game to any student with straight As. Now GAMESTOP HAS SUSPENDED SCOTT. Is he a hero for trying to make the world a better place, or a bad employee?

Can't let good ideas get in the way of profits now.

He should be let go. Where is the responsibility at home? When I was young and in school, we were never allowed to play atari on school days. The store need not be involved. Typical of Texan parents though.

I agree..I think its the parent's job to take responsibility of what their own kids play and when they play it...not GameStop's. If his plan was revised to award those with good grades but not punish those with poor ones..that would be good enough. I was reading on GlobalGrind.com that if you had straight A's he'd buy the game for you, but if you had bad manners and didn't produce good grades...no game for you.
