Silicon Valley Coconuts Complain About Noise

You know... so you don't have to. MIT Media Lab researcher Tad Hirsh has invented a noise-sensitive complaining coconut. As part of a wacky art/tech project called Tripwire, the coconuts are packed with electronics and hung in trees near the San Jose International Airport. When jet noise is too loud, the coconuts' integrated cell phone electronics CALL THE AIRPORT'S COMPLAINT HOTLINE, and leave a message. (props to Oh Gizmo)
