New Chip Transforms Other Chips Into GPS

An Israeli company called CellGuide has unveiled a tiny chip that HIJACKS OTHER PROCESSORS -- such as the microprocessors that power cell phones -- and, combined with CellGuide software, turns them into GPS receivers. The result is a mobile phone with GPS functionality, but without bulky, heavy GPS electronics.
