I don't know what they're complaining about, it now works equally well on all networks. Including CDMA networks like Verizon, that's better than the other unlock procedures.

What matters is, that there is no proof at all that this is true. If iPhones were exploding during unlocking hacks, it would be front-page news all over the world.
So this is probably just more internet BS by people that can't be bothered to check the facts.
