Chinese Company Wants Seagate, U.S. Freaks

Seagate CEO William Watkins says an unnamed Chinese company (but rumored to be Great Wall Technology) wants to buy the storage giant and that as a result "The U.S. government is FREAKING OUT," according to a John Markoff piece in The New York Times. Chinese security agencies could use their access to disk drive controller chips to spy or to give themselves an advantage in a future cyber war.
