Agents ID Drug Kingpin Via Voice Recognition

Brazilian and American anti-drug agents used "ADVANCE VOICE RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY" to identify Juan Carlos Ramirez Abadia, a leader of the largest Colombian drug cartel, whose face was "radically altered" by plastic surgery. Brazilian agents taped him on the phone hooking up a money laundering scheme in Brazil. They passed the recording to US DEA agents, who used their computer systems to match the voice with recordings of Abadia in their database. The Brazilians then arrested him at his luxury crib in Sao Paulo, and even found $1 million in cash lying around.
