Wi-Fi Aquarium Lets You Feed Your Fish Online

Mohamad Abou El-Nasr, assistant professor at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt, won third prize in Lantronix's annual Wireless Design Contest at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose. His invention? A WI-FI ENABLED AQUARIUM called the "Wi-Aquarium," which lets you watch your fish via webcam, feed them remotely and adjust heat, lights and filter online. The aquarium will even send you an e-mail to report aquarium status. Your fish wants one!
