Cell Phones Make Dangerous, Toxic Garbage

Scientists at the University of California-Irvine analyzed the chemicals that leak from discarded cell phones in landfills and found that they constitute a DANGEROUS, HAZARDOUS product. About 130 million cell phones were thrown away in 2005. Cell phones are currently exempt from current hazardous waste classifications, but the researchers say that should be reversed.
