The Australian company SMS Technology plans to ship in Australia next month its $510 M300, a tri-band GSM/GPRS Bluetooth WRISTWATCH PHONE. The watch phone has a one-inch LCD, 64 MB of RAM, and plays MP3 and MPEG 4 media files. The company plans to ship the watch April 25 in Europe. These wristwatch gadgets never catch on, fm radio watch, calculator watch, remote control watch, frs radio watch, mp3 player watch...
That's OK if it doesn't catch on with the public. I only need one. ; )

Actually, I can't help but think that this one might catch on - assuming that you aren't losing any quality. It would be a great advantage to not need to find a bag or pocket to put a phone into if all you want to take is the usual keys/phone/wallet.
Dick Tracy would drool. And, with a Bluetooth headset synced, you'de only look as stupid as the legion of others sporting them full-time. I always thought that talking to a watch would look reciculous.
I think the company has struck upon a great combination here. The Bluetooth support makes it awesome. Previous wristwatch cell phones, which didn't ship outside Asia anyway, had a plug-in earbud and microphone. The Bluetooth makes is super cool.

Didn't Sony shown a wrist cell phone several years ago? Didn't go over as well as the robot dog.
Yeah, it is all cool and that but I'd be concerned about the microwave radiation from the cell phone's antenna being that close to my skin all the time.
I dont want it to catch on with the public, it makes it better when it is on my wrist!
