Battery Builds Itself Inside Gadget's Empty Spaces
Geniuses at MIT have invented a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that BUILDS ITSELF. The technology could lead to cheaper batteries, microscopic batteries, or batteries that fill the empty spaces between electronics inside a tiny gadget. The scientists have found the perfect balance of electrode and electrolyte materials that, "when combined, organize themselves into the structure of a working battery."
