Toyota Car Won't Let You Drive Drunk

Toyota is working on a car that WON'T LET YOU DRIVE if you're drunk. The steering wheel will have sensors that can measure your blood alcohol level. The car will also be able to detect bad steering. Special cameras watch your eyes to make sure they're focusing properly. Toyota hopes to have the car on sale by 2009.

Not to be a nitpicker, but the stearing wheel is just a steering wheel, only more greasy? :-)

Well, at least that's a good kind of effort from the company. It may not be a huge start but it is a good start.

As auto news and auto parts said at least it is a start. My only question is, why with all the technology we pocess in the U.S., are the Big Three not doing anything similiar. If they are and keeping it a secret, maybe they should come out and say so.

Hi...
in term of security I think, it is one of a good effort from the company... but hopefully... the price is affordable :)

Cheers,
Abu
