GPS Shoes Feature Geolocating "Panic Button"
Inventor Sayo Isaac Daniel has invented a pair of shoes that feature GPS built-in, and a "PANIC BUTTON" that calls for help and transmits the location of the wearer. A company called Quantum Satellite Technology plans to start selling the footwear in March for less than $350 a pair.

This is very common these days. Just visit the ISC security shows and you will find dozens of booths offering gps stuff like this. Good idea, but about 4 years old now. The real innovation comes from location services that don't require the monthly subscription rates.
