Revolutionary Wide Angle Lens Has No Distortion

A researcher in South Korea has invented a SUPER-WIDE ANGLE LENS that produces a picture without distortion. The lens can be used for robot eyes or security cameras. The new lens is not only very inexpensive to make (under $100), but is also far smaller and lighter than existing low-distortion "rectilinear" lenses. The lens is for sale from a company called Nanophotonics, founded by the inventor.
