C|net Launches Social Network About Airport Wi-Fi
The online tech news site c|net has launched a SOCIAL NETWORK FOR TRAVELERS called atlarge.com that's focused entirely on wireless access at airports around the world. The idea is to foster a meeting place where frequent fliers can swap information on where to find the best Wi-Fi. Hopefully, they'll also cover how to find electrical outlets in airports.

Comments:
I imagine a lot of spouses of business travelers will not be too happy about their loved ones joining a social network made for business travelers by business travelers.
However, I have to wonder, how many people would honestly use such a service? Does C|Net really think this will be a big thing? Supposedly Facebook.com (used mostly by students) is being eyed by Yahoo. Maybe C|Net is hoping to jump on the bandwagon? I'm just not sure it's feasible.
