Worst USB Gadget Yet: Hand-Warmer Mouse

Japan's Thanko is now selling a mouse with a BUILT-IN-HEATER to warm your hand. You control the temperature with a tiny dial on the bottom.

I own a late 18th century home with drafty windows... I would seriously consider buying one of these.

Yeah - here in Colorado during the winters, my mouse hand actually gets so cold that I feel like it's harder to bend. I'd buy something like this IF it weren't a crappy mouse. If I could combine a *working* heating element with a Logitech quality/design mouse, I'd buy it tomorrow.

I just bought a MOUSE HAND WARMER from igmproducts.com. It's a blanket and uses NO electricity!

In today's energy crisis I like the idea of being energy-efficient.

The hand warmer mice are not ergonomic enough and cause my hand to ache with pain.

Thanks for this post. My mousing hand gets frigid as soon as the temps drop. I tried several products on the market and here's my review:

1. the USB warming mouse makes my palm sweat and the top of my hand is cold

2. the USB hand warmer is too small and not enough room inside to hold a large ergo shaped mouse. the mouse pad attached is cheap foam.

3. the Mouse Hand Warmer gray fleece blanket with a non slip surface works the best. it can be used with or without a mouse pad and is large enough to hold any size mouse.

The moral of the story is this:

If you are a computer user and spend a lot of time with a cold mouse hand, get a blanket to cover is up!

Mouse Hand Warmer Gray Fleece Blanket is available online at these locations:

Hope this review is helpful! Thanks, Monica
