New Robot to Explore Egypt's Biggest Pyramid
Four years ago, archeologists sent a mobile, remote-control robot deep inside the "Queen's Chamber" in Egypt's Pyramid of Cheops at Giza to find out what was in there. They found two "mystery doors" with copper handles that the robot was ill-equiped to open. Now Egyptologists from Egypt, Singapore, Britain and Hong Kong plan to send an UPGRADE, which will slither down alternative passages in an attempt to get past the doors.
