I told you July 6 about a teenager who got electrocuted by an iPod that attracted lightning. Now it appears that 17-year-old Floridian Eddie Wilkerson was zapped by lightning that traveled through his his PC and through the MOUSE CABLE, jolting his right arm. Let this be a warning to all teens who watch Internet porn.

The original post you linked mentioned that experts think it was unlikely the lightening was attracted to the iPod. It's more likely that the earbud cord and iPod gave the lightening an exit point so that the electrical current didn't go through his body and stop his heart.
Come on, whose right hand is going to be on the mouse when watching porn?
One more "strike" against corded mice.
Thank god I use a cordless mouse and keyboard. Phew. :)
