Worst USB Gadget Yet: Decapitated Teddy Bear

It's a TEDDY BEAR USB DRIVE with a French twist: The head comes off, and you plug the neck into your USB port. I want one. (Anyone have info on this?) UPDATE: Reader Bruno Del Frate has posted a link to more pictures on flickr in the comments.)

Comments:
I am pretty sure this looks to be a homemade number. Take any small plush toy, an flash drive, some glue, and a few stitches you will have it made.
I agree, Ben, and here are more pics:

I'm sure some creative wag out there in Cyberland can design one around "SMOKEY the Bear" with a new spin his trademark "Only YOU can prevent ????"
Hilarious
I believe the text is not French, but possibly Porteguese (or maybe Spanish). Darned funny, though.

Only Teddy can prevent data theft.
Uh, Te Querio in spanish means I Love You.
Te Quiero means "I want you" in spanish - Te amo means "I love you"
Te Quiero means "I want you" in spanish - Te amo means "I love you"
te quiero means both "i want you" and "i love you"
I think by "French twist," they mean that you cut off the head, AKA guillotine. Te quiero does mean "I want you" in the literal translation, but can mean "I want you" if you mean it.
"Te quiero" is "I want you" in spanish and it is not "I love you" -- that's "Te amo". I speak spanish, so stop arguing!!
i agree - i have always heard "te amo" used for "I love you". what the owner /creator of this bear probably did was http://babelfish.altavista.com English to Spanish translation.
Typed "I love you". Pressed translate.
It spits out "te quiero" as the translation.
So stop arguing.
Dudes,
Erik from Mexico:
I LOVE THE BEAR! TEDDY RULEZ !!
and for teddy's t-shirt this is it :
° Te quiero = I love you
(AS IN BOYFRIEND'S RELATIONSHIP and friendship usage, also you can say that man2man as a really-trully good friend )
° Te amo = I LOVE YOU
( much MORE intense as in a mature & strong relationship, you say that in a couple, also a Mom (or even Dad) can say that to her/his children )
° I want you = Te deseo ( as in lust )
eriku
very cute idea...
cuddle your data ;o)
For Erik:
After so many posts on the "te quiero" translation it was great to someone step in and offer the correct contextual translation.
Babelfish (i.e.: SYSTRAN) is not a contextual translation tool boys and girls.
Oh yeah...the osito...cute in concept but a tad bizarre in application.
Saludos.
Just so everybody is clear here. Te Quiero is equivalent to Te Amo. and they are spanish phrases
The verb querer translates to 'to want' or to 'to love'
The Verb amar tranlates to 'to love'
'Te Quiero' is how you love your mom (or how a teddy bear might feel about it's master)
'Te Amo' is how you love a spicy latin woman that you make love to or a spicy burrito that you make love to
Ha-ha-ha... I like it. Cool idea. Post more.
Finally a use for Beenie Babies.
I've got to go and find a teddy bear now. Now if onlt they made plush George W. Bush action figures....
Finally a use for Beenie Babies.
i am interested to buy one... can anyone helo me out how and from where... u can reply me on ali@dwindustries.biz
I'm spanish. "Te quiero" could mean "I want you" or "I love you", but we use this phrase to say that we love somebody.
We don't use to say "Te quiero" meaning "I want you". Maybe we could say "Te quiero a tí para..." = "I want you to..."
Great place to hide your porn.
He is spilling his guts I bet!
Zel
Can we get this in the form of a polar bear?
Te Quiero means I want.......
ok stop it. technically, "te quiero" translates to "i want you", but there are different connotations in spanish and english. In spanish, "te quiero" is often used in situations where "i love you" is used in english. In english, "i want you" tends to have more erotic connotations, whereas in spanish "te quiero" can mean that, but can also be more of a romantic statement than an expression of erotic desire. duh.
are you kidding me. people are still arguing with the ones who actually know. te quiero means both i want you and I love you but noone says te quiero when they mean i want you. te quiero= i love. end of discussion. the people who dont speak spanish stop argguing cause you only sound more stupid.
heey how can I get that teddy ????? i love it awesome I leave my mail
thanks for all..
A friend of mine saw the pic of this bear and just HAD to have one...we couldn't find one to buy so I made one...he loves it :)
