Tiny Gyroscope Boosts Camera Phone Photos

A company called InvenSense has created the world’s smallest dual-axis GYROSCOPE for use in camera phones to stabalize them during picture-taking. The chip-based gyroscope family, called the IDG-1000, is five times smaller than the second-smallest. They expect the part to show up in real phones later this year.
