Playboy's 'Women of MySpace' Named
Playboy announced a "Women of MySpace" pictorial earlier this year, and OVER 600 WOMEN from all over the world sent pics, saying they were interested in posing. The field has been winnowed down to nine MySpace members, and the NAMES ANNOUNCED, causing a stampede of users to search their MySpace profiles. Five of the nine are from -- where else? -- my own state of California. The pictorial will appear online in the for-pay PLAYBOY CYBER CLUB May 19 and also in the current (June) issue of the DEAD-TREES VERSION OF PLAYBOY. Interestingly, the Playboy web site calls them the "Girls of MySpace," whereas the press release calls them the "Women of MySpace." Advice: With all the Internet pedophile stories involving MySpace, would have gone with "Women." -- just my $0.02. (Pictured: San Francisco's own BETTY LIPSTICK)
